Ellenore Scott, most recently appearing as a finalist on the prime time television show, "So You Think You Can Dance", and performing on the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, is a New York professional dancer and choreographer. Ellenore has been tour dancer with the iconic Janet Jackson during her performance in 2010 at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Ellenore has danced with numerous dance companies in New York City including The Von Howard Project, jillsigman/thinkdance and nathantrice/RITUALS. She has made television experience include dancing on "The Ellen Show" "The View" "One Life to Live" and as a guest dancer on "Dancing with the Stars." In addition to pursuing her dance career, Ellenore is working as an aspiring choreographer. She has assisted Earl Mosley in setting "Saddle Up!" on the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as well rehearsal assistant for Nathan Trice and Matthew Rushing. Ellenore received Honorable Mention from the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts and is an Honors Graduate from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School (The "FAME" School) and has set a piece on their graduating class of 2011 entitled "Click: a dance of distraction, concentration and communication."
